Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor (Site) to join a growing construction team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to the organizational framework, requiring a professional who can manage project costs and commercial activities for management and technical review. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), evaluating variations and claims, and ensuring compliance with project terms. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in UAE Construction Standards and Contract Administration and a proactive approach to site-based cost control and consultancy coordination. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee site-based quantity surveying activities to meet management and project execution targets.
- Support commercial integrity in Dubai, ensuring 100% data integrity in Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and variation evaluations.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department, consultants, and site engineers to ensure smooth project execution and effective contract administration.
- Monitor project costs and ensure strict financial control while coordinating claims and contractual changes accurately.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and specialized QS software to optimize cost reporting and professional project documentation.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering plus a relevant professional Quantity Surveying or MRICS Certificate.
- Minimum 10 years of professional UAE experience specifically in construction site supervision and cost management.
- Strong background in management of BOQs, variation claims, and contract administration within the UAE market.
- Professional background in education or training regarding FIDIC contracts, UAE building codes, and analytical negotiation.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, technical proficiency in consultancy/project roles, and current UAE residency.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to support a high-standard construction firm in Dubai.
