Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our Waterproofing Division in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can manage cost estimates and BOQs for management and commercial review. You will be responsible for evaluating subcontractor quotations, monitoring project budgets, and preparing interim valuations. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Waterproofing Systems and Cost Structures and a proactive approach to contract administration and claims management. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to meet management and project budget targets.
- Support fiscal integrity in Abu Dhabi, ensuring 100% data integrity in cost estimates, variation orders, and final account statements.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department, procurement, and site teams to evaluate subcontractor pricing and negotiate favorable contract terms.
- Track project progress and provide regular updates on cost performance while ensuring all activities comply with company policies.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and QS software to optimize cost estimation practices and professional commercial reporting.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying plus a relevant professional QS Certificate.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience specifically within the UAE waterproofing or construction sector.
- Strong background in management of contracts, variations, and subcontractor valuations.
- Professional background in education or training regarding waterproofing materials, MS Excel, and industry-related QS software.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, analytical thinking, and effective negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to support a specialized engineering division in Abu Dhabi.
