The full-time position requires leveraging personal insights and established rehabilitation frameworks to help patients build emotional stability and operational routine under a collaborative healthcare management team.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-impact peer support and emotional mentoring drawing responsibly from personal long-term recovery achievements and specialized counseling practices.
  • Encourage, guide, and facilitate active patient participation in 12-step recovery programs, including Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) frameworks.
  • Offer continuous motivational counseling and grounding techniques during high-stress moments or emotional challenges along the rehabilitation pathway.
  • Work closely with clinical teams, case managers, and healthcare professionals to align peer strategies with formal medical and psychological treatment plans.
  • Help patients identify psychological triggers and develop personalized coping strategies to maintain long-term sobriety and lifestyle stability.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of continuous personal recovery experience from substance or behavioral addiction is an absolute prerequisite.
  • Active, ongoing involvement and deep structural familiarity with 12-step recovery programs (AA, NA, or closely related community support frameworks).
  • Prior professional experience operating as a Certified Recovery Coach, Peer Support Specialist, or Behavioral Health Technician is highly preferred.
  • Fluent Arabic speaking, writing, and reading capabilities are strictly required to communicate effectively with the primary patient demographic.
  • Exceptional interpersonal engagement, active listening, and boundary-setting skills to work productively within a highly sensitive and confidential therapeutic landscape.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of addiction recovery processes, trauma-informed peer care methods, and crisis de-escalation techniques.
  • Certification in Peer Support, Addiction Counseling, Mental Health Support, or a related healthcare field from an accredited body is highly preferred.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive baseline fixed salary package structured from AED 5,000 to 7,000, determined entirely by peer coaching certifications and counseling background.
  • The profound opportunity to transform lives using lived experience within a highly supportive and professional clinical environment.
  • Continuous professional exposure to cutting-edge behavioral health methodologies and guidance under leading psychiatric specialists in Abu Dhabi.
