Job Description:

The Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Ward will deliver comprehensive bedside care, monitor patient vitals, administer prescribed medications, coordinate care plans with attending physicians, maintain strict clinical records, and partner with nursing management to uphold patient safety standards in Al Ain.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients admitted to the Medical-Surgical Ward.
• Monitor vital signs, conduct systematic clinical assessments, administer medications, and manage IV therapy.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, doctors, and specialists to implement treatment plans.
• Educate patients and family members on pre- and post-operative instructions, recovery care, and discharge guidelines.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR), clinical documentation, and shift handovers in compliance with hospital standards.
• Enforce strict infection control guidelines, patient safety protocols, and Department of Health (DoH) regulations.

🔹 Requirements:

• Female candidate with a recognized Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Active Department of Health (DoH) License or valid DoH Eligibility Letter as a Registered Nurse.
• Proven experience as a Registered Nurse working within a hospital Medical-Surgical Ward unit.
• In-depth knowledge of med-surg clinical procedures, pharmacology, patient assessment, and emergency care.
• Strong interpersonal communication, compassionate patient care skills, and ability to thrive in a high-volume ward setting.
