Job Description:

We are executing a strategic leadership appointment within our high-volume airport duty-free operations and are seeking a highly commercial, analytical Retail Sales Manager to govern multi-category boutique storefronts and direct floor personnel in Abu Dhabi. Operating as an essential operational leader on the shop floor, this full-time position focuses on maximizing commercial yield performance, accelerating conversion metrics, and managing team operational structures under our unified commercial management framework.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full strategic ownership of travel-retail storefront performance during assigned shifts, ensuring absolute brand compliance and seamless building operations.
  • Lead by example directly on the active duty-free shop floor, ensuring robust team presence and high standards of service.
  • Promote an absolute “customer-first” floor culture, motivating multi-cultural retail advisors to consistently deliver memorable luxury service.
  • Drive immediate store sales performance by tracking daily revenue targets, beating historical year-on-year results, and controlling shrinkage.
  • Focus systematically on expanding Passenger Average Spend (PAS) parameters through structured operational campaigns such as the Shift Excellence programme.
  • Provide high-fidelity operational leadership by coaching, mentoring, and empowering counter staff and supervisors across all product departments.
  • Act as an inspirational role model, maintaining a positive, high-energy floor environment to support retention, development, and employee engagement.
  • Uphold the recognized ARI Leadership Standards by building mutual trust, encouraging cross-department collaboration, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Maintain immaculate shop visual merchandising alignments and coordinate efficiently with central Buying and Order Management teams.
  • Serve as the critical point of escalation for complex guest relations or operational floor issues, resolving problems with complete professional diplomacy.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, International Marketing, Hospitality Management, or an equivalent commercial discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful, verified store management or operations leadership experience strictly within corporate retail, premium cosmetics/beauty, or high-end hospitality sectors.
  • Prior professional background or deep operational exposure working inside premium, luxury travel-retail environments or high-volume transport hubs is an added advantage.
  • Advanced technical data literacy with practical proficiency deploying formulas, retail analytics trackers, and inventory performance logs inside Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a proven capacity to interpret complex sales targets and deliver measurable margin results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with sharp interpersonal influence and cross-cultural stakeholder management capabilities.
