Job Description:

An opening is available for a passionate and interactive Secondary English Teacher to join an American Curriculum school for the upcoming academic session. This role focuses on delivering high-impact ELA lessons, developing student communication skills, and guiding literacy pathways within an active education ecosystem in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging English / ELA lessons aligned with the American curriculum.
  • Create a structured and supportive classroom environment that promotes active learning.
  • Encourage student participation, discussion, and critical thinking skills development.
  • Apply modern, student-centered teaching strategies and 21st-century learning approaches.
  • Support students with varying learning needs, including EAL/ELL learners.
  • Monitor and assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain effective classroom management and positive student behavior standards.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English or a related discipline plus a recognized professional teaching qualification.
  • Official IELTS certification with an overall score of 7.0 or above.
  • Proven track record teaching English / ELA at the secondary school level.
  • Strong classroom management, parental coordination, and organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and educational software common in Information Technology enabled classrooms.
  • Deep knowledge of American curriculum standards and literacy development techniques.
