Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Coordinator to join our professional academic team in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can oversee and coordinate SEN programs for management and student development review. You will be responsible for identifying student needs, developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and ensuring compliance with local inclusion policies. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Special Educational Needs, British/American Curricula, and Pedagogical Support and a proactive approach to enhancing inclusive learning environments. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the implementation of SEN programs to meet management and inclusive benchmarks.
- Support educational integrity in Abu Dhabi, identifying student requirements and developing IEPs with 100% precision.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and school leadership to facilitate professional organizational coordination of support strategies.
- Provide guidance and training to teaching staff while monitoring student progress and adjusting intervention plans.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools to maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with local educational regulations.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education (Attested with Degree Equivalency).
- Minimum 2 years of professional teaching experience in American or British curriculum schools.
- Strong background in management of special educational needs and valid/active teaching license.
- Professional background in education regarding IELTS (Score 7 mandatory), UAE inclusion policies, and student wellbeing.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, possess ADEK/KHDA/SPEA familiarity, and relocate to Abu Dhabi.
