Job Description:
The Senior Accountant will oversee general ledger operations, drive statutory financial reporting, and manage internal audit compliance across group operations. Stationed at our Dubai headquarters, this experienced finance professional will handle month-end and year-end closing cycles, coordinate with external auditing entities, maintain VAT compliance, and provide strategic financial analytics using ERP systems.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain the general ledger and perform account reconciliations.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, VAT regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Identify and recommend improvements to financial processes and internal controls.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven accounting experience, preferably within large corporate or manufacturing organizations.
- Previous professional auditing experience is mandatory.
- In-depth expertise in financial reporting, general ledger reconciliations, and local UAE VAT compliance.
- Hands-on experience with month-end/year-end closing processes, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- High proficiency in enterprise ERP software platforms and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and business communication skills.
- Immediate joiners currently located in the UAE are highly preferred.
