Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Finance Supervisor to independently oversee the finance functions for a well-established trading company. This role is fundamental to the organizational framework, requiring a professional who can manage end-to-end accounting operations for management and direct ownership review. You will be responsible for VAT and Corporate Tax filings, inventory costing, and developing rolling cash flow forecasts to support strategic decision-making. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage UAE tax compliance and financial operations to meet management and business growth targets.
- Support fiscal integrity in Sharjah, ensuring 100% data integrity in VAT filings, corporate tax reporting, and monthly financial statements.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) to ensure full compliance and coordinate with external auditors.
- Oversee accounts receivable, credit control, and inventory costing while maintaining accurate rolling cash flow forecasts.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and advanced ERP systems to optimize profitability analysis and professional financial reporting.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree plus a mandatory professional ACCA, CPA, or CMA Certification.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience specifically within the UAE trading or building materials sector.
- Strong background in management of full set of accounts, inventory accounting, and cash flow management.
- Professional background in education or training regarding UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, gross margin analysis, and financial controls.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, high responsibility, and a proactive approach to reporting in multi-entity environments.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to support a high-standard trading firm in Sharjah.
