Senior Architect (Civil) – Abu Dhabi, UAE | Leading Contracting Company

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Design Coordination: Lead architectural design coordination to ensure all structural and MEP elements align perfectly with the architectural intent.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare and review detailed shop drawings, material submittals, and final as-built documentation.
• Authority Liaison: Manage the submission process for Abu Dhabi authorities (ADM, Civil Defense, etc.) and ensure compliance with Estidama and local building codes.
• Site Supervision: Provide critical on-site support, resolving technical discrepancies and ensuring construction follows approved drawings.
• Material Selection: Evaluate and recommend construction materials and techniques that balance aesthetic goals with structural durability.
• Stakeholder Management: Coordinate effectively with consultants, sub-contractors, and engineering teams to maintain project timelines.

🔹 Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Mandatory).
• Professional Experience: 7–8 years of relevant experience in the UAE, specifically focused on residential villa construction.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Abu Dhabi municipality regulations and the building approval lifecycle.
• Technical Toolkit: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit is highly advantageous for BIM coordination.
• Structural Awareness: Strong understanding of building construction details, materials, and modern civil techniques.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, coordination, and communication skills to manage multi-disciplinary site teams.
