Senior Costing & Estimation Engineer | Abu Dhabi, UAE | PESCO Industries

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Estimation: Prepare high-precision cost estimates for specialized industrial equipment, including Pressure Vessels, Storage Tanks, and Structural Steel.
• Skid-Mounted Systems: Develop comprehensive cost models for complex skid-mounted process systems, integrating mechanical, piping, and structural elements.
• BOQ & Tendering: Lead the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and manage full-cycle tender analysis for major EPC industrial projects.
• Commercial Evaluation: Conduct thorough technical and commercial bid evaluations to ensure alignment with PESCO’s manufacturing capabilities and profit margins.
• Fabrication Liaison: Collaborate with the production and fabrication teams to validate manufacturing hours, material costs, and specialized welding/coating processes.
• Market Analysis: Monitor global raw material price trends (Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, etc.) to ensure competitive and realistic project bidding.

🔹 Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in costing and estimation within heavy manufacturing or industrial fabrication.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering (Professional Certifications like AACE/CCP are an advantage).
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of ASME, API, and AWS standards related to the fabrication of pressure vessels and skids.
• Project Exposure: Proven background working on EPC projects or within large-scale industrial manufacturing environments.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to navigate complex engineering blueprints and technical specifications.
• Language: Professional fluency in English; strong communication skills for cross-departmental and client-facing coordination.
