Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer specializing in Azure technologies to join our growing team in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can develop advanced data pipelines for management and analytics review. You will be responsible for building scalable lakehouse architectures, optimizing data warehouses, and implementing cloud-based solutions using Databricks and Synapse Analytics. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Modern Data Architecture and Enterprise ETL Processes and a proactive approach to data quality, governance, and security standards. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines within the Azure ecosystem to meet management and data integrity targets.
- Support technical integrity in Abu Dhabi, ensuring 100% data integrity in lakehouse architectures, ETL workflows, and structured datasets.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and data science teams to deliver clean, reliable datasets for analytics and business reporting.
- Implement best practices in data governance, security, and quality standards while monitoring workflows to minimize system downtime.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools such as Azure Data Factory and Databricks to optimize cloud transformation and professional technical reporting.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or IT plus a relevant professional Azure Data Engineer Associate Certificate.
- Extensive professional experience specifically in data engineering within large-scale or enterprise environments.
- Strong background in management of Azure tools including Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Professional background in education or training regarding SQL, Python, Scala, and modern cloud-native architecture principles.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, solve complex data problems, and work efficiently in a collaborative professional environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to support a high-standard IT firm in Abu Dhabi.
