Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior MEP Engineer to join our team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our project framework, requiring a skilled professional with strong technical knowledge and leadership capabilities to manage Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works across large-scale projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all on-site MEP activities, ensuring coordination between disciplines, and maintaining high standards of quality for management review. We are looking for a hands-on leader proficient in AutoCAD and Revit MEP who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all on-site MEP activities, ensuring proper coordination between mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Review, evaluate, and approve MEP designs and shop drawings in line with UAE authority requirements.
- Coordinate directly with authorities such as DEWA, Dubai Municipality, and Civil Defence for all necessary approvals and inspections.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding the mentoring and guidance of junior engineers and site personnel.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools to monitor project progress and ensure systems testing and commissioning meet quality standards.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a related MEP field) is mandatory.
- 8 to 12 years of professional experience in MEP engineering, including at least 5 years within the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations including DEWA, Dubai Municipality, and Civil Defence.
- Strong background in management of large-scale construction sites and multidisciplinary stakeholder coordination.
- Professional background in education or training regarding Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and international safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills; a valid UAE driving license and immediate availability are preferred.
