Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and structured Senior Planning Engineer to join our professional project controls and consulting operations team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a scheduling and critical path method professional who can deliver baseline execution and delay analysis precision for management and stakeholder structural review. You will be responsible for overseeing complete construction milestone tracking, organizing resource loading matrices, updating delay risk registers, archiving project status presentations, and executing precise schedule optimization pathways. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Primavera P6 Scheduling, Extension of Time (EOT) Analysis, and Project Controls Reporting and a proactive approach to operational tracking. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage comprehensive day-to-day project scheduling networks, master planning files, and milestone tracking setups to meet management and engineering compliance targets.
• Support structural integrity in Dubai, reviewing contractor submittals, checking construction methodology sheets, and compiling accurate baseline schedules with 100% precision.
• Liaise with the Human Resources department, client project directors, senior consultant engineers, asset stakeholders, and specialized contractors to facilitate professional organizational coordination of multi-tier project reviews.
• Formulate clear weekly and monthly progress summaries, compile resource forecast graphics, perform critical path delay audits, and manage immediate scheduling problem-solving routines to prevent timeline slippage.
• Utilize digital Information Technology suites, advanced Primavera P6 setups, and corporate enterprise databases to log asset allocation metrics, evaluate productivity indexes, and distribute balance sheets across infrastructure packages.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or an closely aligned professional engineering discipline is strictly required.
• A minimum of 10 years of proven professional experience specializing in construction planning, scheduling, and project controls is required.
• Strong knowledge base and practical exposure regarding the management of large-scale commercial developments or infrastructure projects inside the UAE/Dubai market is highly preferred.
• Professional background in education regarding Critical Path Method (CPM) analytics, Earned Value Management (EVM), delay claim documentation protocols, and construction sequencing parameters.
• Mandatory expert-level technical proficiency in operating Primavera P6 and corporate Microsoft Office spreadsheet suites.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and technical reporting skills, with a collaborative approach to leading engineering teams under tight project constraints.
