Job Description:
We are currently hiring an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong expertise in both Civil and MEP disciplines to join our Dubai operations. This role is fundamental to our project framework, requiring a professional who can manage project financials for management and commercial review. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing tendering activities, and overseeing contract administration, including claims and variations. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Commercial Strategy and a proactive approach to risk management across the project lifecycle. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, project budgets, and financial forecasts to meet management and project targets.
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and valuations in Dubai, ensuring 100% data integrity in financial reporting and cost analysis.
- Liaise with the Human Resources and procurement teams to manage tendering activities, bid analysis, and contract negotiations.
- Oversee contract administration processes, including the management of variations, claims, and change orders to ensure budget alignment.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and QS software to monitor project expenditures and coordinate with engineering teams for cost efficiency.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a professional Certificate in a related field.
- 5–10 years of professional experience in Civil and/or MEP quantity surveying specifically within the UAE market.
- Strong background in management of project expenditures, procurement processes, and contract management principles.
- Professional background in education or training regarding MRICS certification or similar international standards.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in QS software tools and MS Office.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the capability to manage complex commercial strategy in a fast-paced Dubai project environment.
