Job Description:
The Senior Resident Engineer will lead site supervision, oversee construction execution, and direct full project lifecycles for high-rise towers and luxury hospitality developments. Based in Dubai, this senior engineering leader will enforce Dubai Municipality standards, manage consultant-contractor coordination, administer FIDIC contracts, direct testing and commissioning, and ensure total compliance with approved engineering specifications through final handover.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the supervision and delivery of high-rise and luxury hospitality construction projects.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, clients, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee project progress from construction through testing, commissioning, and final handover.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, Dubai Municipality requirements, and industry best practices.
- Review project documentation, technical reports, and construction procedures.
- Provide technical leadership while maintaining project quality, safety, and schedule objectives.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; a Master’s Degree is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 30 years of professional experience in construction supervision and engineering consultancy.
- At least 20 years of experience within the UAE, with extensive Dubai market background preferred.
- Mandatory Dubai Municipality Unlimited Engineer License.
- Proven track record delivering high-rise developments of 40+ floors (experience with 60+ floor towers highly preferred) and luxury hotel projects from construction to handover.
- Expert knowledge of UAE construction regulations, FIDIC contract administration, quality assurance, and project commissioning.
- Exceptional leadership, technical report review, and stakeholder management skills.
