Job Description:
We are expanding our regional architectural design division and seeking a qualified, highly technical, and structured Signage Wayfinding Draftsman / Designer to join our professional production team in Al Quoz Industrial Area 2, Dubai. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a detailed signage vector structuring and fabrication drawing specialist who can deliver blueprint layout speed and material specification precision for management and factory plant operations performance review. You will be responsible for overseeing wayfinding navigation design tracks, organizing assembly detailing sequences, updating engineering dimension profiles, archiving design alteration logs, and executing precise manufacturing output pathways. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in AutoCAD Modeling, Signage Substrate Material Dynamics, and Print-Ready File Compilation and a proactive approach to operational tracking. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed wayfinding signage engineering drawings, section views, and precise technical layouts.
- Develop complex signage installation concepts, production blueprints, and material joining design detailing.
- Coordinate directly with workshop production teams and field project engineers to ensure accurate shop-floor execution of designs.
- Create visually outstanding, highly functional signage layouts and integrated corporate branding elements.
- Modify, update, and re-engineer technical drawings based on evolving site conditions and client review feedback.
- Ensure all compiled drawings strictly meet structural production safety standards and structural project specifications.
- Assist in preparing error-free, print-ready and CNC fabrication-ready vector files for large-format processing.
- Maintain highly organized digital records of project drawings, chronological revisions, and structural documentation.
🔹 Requirements:
- Prior professional experience in technical drafting or industrial design within the UAE or GCC signage manufacturing sector is preferred.
- High level of technical proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and related drafting platforms is required.
- Strong functional knowledge of complex wayfinding signage architectures, interior/exterior detailing, and engineering layouts.
- Good operational understanding of signage manufacturing raw materials (acrylics, ACM, LED modules, steel) and sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Excellent spatial attention to detail paired with structured technical problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven capability to work independently across multiple manufacturing drawing lines under tight delivery schedules.
- Strong knowledge base and practical exposure regarding the management of scale transformations, layer standards, and precision tolerances.
- Professional background in education regarding vector graphic layouts, illumination calculations, material stress allowances, and computerized design standards.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, manage high-volume detailing tracks under compressed factory delivery timelines, and thrive in an elite Dubai industrial zone workshop.
