A premier, highly successful infrastructure development corporation, elite civil contracting enterprise, and leading utility engineering network is expanding its high-performance project delivery core in Dubai South, United Arab Emirates. Built upon world-class structural precision criteria, strict civil engineering rules, and progressive environmental safety standards, the organization governs modern utility distribution networks, constructs high-voltage electrical installations, and ensures absolute corporate compliance with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) regulations, municipal construction codes, and international structural quality benchmarks.

Job Description:

We are executing a strategic technical appointment within our central power infrastructure division and are seeking a meticulous, process-driven Site Engineer (DEWA Approved) to govern complex civil execution pipelines and direct large-scale substations installation pathways in Dubai. Configured for seasoned construction field leaders who possess deep operational command of heavy utility builds and excel at aligning live project execution with rigid regulatory engineering schematics, this full-time track focuses on accelerating completion timelines, auditing workforce output standards, and maximizing structural safety scores under our integrated corporate management framework.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, coordinate, and control day-to-day site civil operations and structural concrete installations on-site.
  • Monitor technical project progress, ensuring strict structural compliance with approved engineering drawings, method statements, and quality baselines.
  • Coordinate closely across site consultants, utility inspectors, specialist sub-contractors, and core project stakeholders to maintain project flow.
  • Enforce rigid operational quality control, health and safety regulations, and local civil defense requirements across all field activities.
  • Support main project controls, scheduling evaluations, workforce planning, and material procurement sequences.
  • Review detailed blueprints and technical calculations, providing quick solutions to immediate field distribution or structural challenges.
  • Monitor general labor productivity, machinery utility metrics, and structural phase targets against master project charts.
  • Prepare comprehensive weekly construction logs, field material tracking sheets, and precise engineering status updates for executive evaluation.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university or matching structural institution.
  • Mandatory Technical Credential: Must hold a valid, active DEWA Approval as a certified engineer.
  • A minimum of 10 years of verified professional experience operating on active civil engineering sites, explicitly directing high-voltage substation builds or utility infrastructure networks with reputed Main Contractors in the UAE.
  • Advanced field data literacy with practical proficiency deploying project planning databases, computer-aided drafting layouts, and advanced survey logging systems.
  • Deep, comprehensive operational knowledge across the following primary functional domains:
    • High-voltage substation layouts, heavy concrete framing, and underground utility installation methodologies.
    • UAE utility standards, DEWA field regulations, and structural engineering compliance procedures.
    • On-site workforce coordination, material quality verification, and HSE incident prevention protocols.
    • Document control processes, change-order tracking, and as-built blueprint confirmation.
  • Outstanding physical site organization habits, rapid problem-solving traits, strict attention to engineering detail, and the capacity to meet tight project deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication habits paired with the operational flexibility to adjust to a maximum notice period of one month and base operations out of Dubai South.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive baseline fixed salary package structured from AED 5,000 to 6,000, determined entirely by past substation project portfolio defenses, live civil engineering scenario reviews, and utility compliance interviews.
  • An elite opportunity to assume complete engineering custody over a major utility infrastructure layout and establish a prominent record with a premier development brand.
  • Stable career development paths supported by expansive regional energy projects and active internal growth channels for senior project managers, infrastructure directors, and corporate hr jobs or manpower resource leads.
