Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Steel Designer with strong UAE experience to join our growing steel construction team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can deliver precise structural designs for management and fabrication review. You will be responsible for preparing detailed calculations, shop drawings, and erection plans while ensuring all designs comply with international standards. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Structural Analysis and Detailed Engineering Drawings and a proactive approach to project deliverables and site coordination. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate steel structure designs and calculations to meet management and project specification targets.
- Support structural integrity in Dubai, ensuring 100% data integrity in shop drawings, fabrication blueprints, and erection documentation.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department, production, and site execution teams to ensure designs comply with UAE regulations and international standards.
- Perform advanced structural analysis of steel components and systems using industry-standard software tools.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and engineering software (SAP2000/ETABS) to optimize design accuracy and professional organizational reporting.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering plus relevant Steel Design or Structural Engineering Credentials.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience specifically within the UAE steel design and engineering sector.
- Strong background in management of detailed engineering projects, technical drawings, and structural analysis techniques.
- Professional background in education or training regarding SAP2000, ETABS, IDEA StatiCa, and international engineering standards.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, strong coordination skills, and the capability to work under strict project deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to support a high-standard steel construction firm in Dubai.
