Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Supervisor – Accounts to lead our core finance functions in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can manage complex financial reporting for management and regulatory review. You will be responsible for overseeing Oracle ERP operations, managing crude oil sales validation, and leading the monthly/annual financial closing processes. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in UAE VAT Compliance and Statutory Financial Reporting and a proactive approach to budgeting, cost control, and strategic financial planning. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise accurate recording and classification of all financial transactions to meet management and statutory standards.
- Support fiscal integrity in Abu Dhabi, ensuring 100% data integrity in AP/AR workflows, general ledgers, and inventory reconciliations.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and auditors to manage VAT reporting, FTA submissions, and internal controls within the Oracle ERP system.
- Handle complex crude oil sales accounting, including sales document validation, cost transfers, and Head Office coordination.
- Prepare and analyze high-level financial data for budgeting and forecasting to optimize performance evaluation and professional organizational reporting.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and ERP systems to monitor expenditure compliance against approved contracts and policies.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting plus a Mandatory Professional Certification (CA, CPA, or ACCA).
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience specifically within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong background in management of financial closing cycles, Oracle ERP operations, and complex cost transfers.
- Professional background in education or training regarding UAE VAT regulations, IFRS/accounting standards, and budgeting techniques.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, lead finance teams, and apply advanced financial analysis to support strategic goals.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to support a high-standard energy firm in Abu Dhabi.
