Technical Manager – Abu Dhabi, UAE | Quality Technical Services (QTS)

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance Leadership: Lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance of ISO/IEC 17025 documentation and quality systems.
• QA/QC Oversight: Manage laboratory quality functions to ensure the absolute accuracy, traceability, and consistency of all calibration results.
• Technical Verification: Review and approve calibration reports and complex uncertainty calculations before client issuance.
• Audit Management: Conduct internal audits and coordinate with accreditation bodies (ENAS/EIAC) for external assessments and evaluations.
• Standardization: Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions in line with ASTM, BS, and ISO 9001 standards.
• Team Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and training to lab engineers, fostering a culture of precision and continuous improvement.

🔹 Requirements:

• Technical Expertise: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in ISO/IEC 17025 technical operations and documentation.
• Standards Knowledge: Strong working proficiency in ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ASTM, and BS standards.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Accreditation Experience: Prior experience with ENAS or EIAC accreditation schemes is highly preferred.
• Analytical Skills: Expert-level knowledge of uncertainty calculations and laboratory internal auditing processes.
• Soft Skills: Excellent command of technical English for documentation and stakeholder communication.
