Job Description:
We are seeking an exceptionally motivated, mathematically precise, and structurally creative 3D Designer / Industrial Designer to manage daily geometric modeling pipelines, advanced file repair workflows, and additive manufacturing optimization tracks at our industrial production facility in Dubai. Operating at the technical core of our advanced manufacturing division, this central design execution role demands complete lifecycle control over technical tolerances, precise material limitation parameters, and immediate print file bottleneck resolution to guarantee flawless fabrication velocity for executive corporate management evaluation. It offers a spectacular platform to leverage your rich parametric modeling background and advanced industrial fabrication education inside a highly respected, tech-driven additive manufacturing ecosystem.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Create highly detailed, dimensionally accurate 3D models, prototypes, and functional assemblies for commercial manufacturing projects fluidly.
- Develop strict technical drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) blueprints, and production-ready manufacturing documentation systematically.
- Collaborate actively with workshop technicians, hardware operators, and engineering leads to ensure design files translate flawlessly to printer hardware.
- Perform complex reverse engineering tasks utilizing physical component scans, mesh alignments, and reference telemetry data to rebuild digital assets.
- Repair, modify, and structurally subdivide flawed mesh volumes to optimize structural printability and raw material economy.
- Prepare, slice, and orient STL, OBJ, STEP, and native CAD file formats for targeted high-performance industrial additive systems.
- Verify precise physical tolerances, structural overhang constraints, wall thicknesses, and design feasibility vectors before launching production.
- Ensure all incoming files strictly comply with localized material performance limits, thermal behaviors, and internal quality standards.
- Manage multiple simultaneous design files and customer build assignments while protecting aggressive production schedules and client deadlines.
- Support localized continuous improvement pathways by developing custom parametric templates and hardware optimization strategies.
🔹 Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 to 4 years of verified, hands-on professional experience inside an industrial 3D printing, rapid prototyping, or product development facility is required.
- Solid technical comprehension of heavy additive processes, explicitly spanning FDM, SLA, and SLS industrial hardware mechanics.
- Practical, functional knowledge of Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) methodologies, support optimization, and resin drainage layouts.
- Proven capacity to manage and navigate complex file formats, including solid bodies, point clouds, and open-surface meshes.
- Demonstrated proficiency operating advanced mechanical and surfacing software suites, specifically SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, and Materialise Magics.
- Familiarity with organic sculpting programs, mesh topology optimization tools, and polygon reduction utilities.
- Capacity to self-manage complex design queues independently while protecting total corporate data privacy and intellectual property codes under pressure.
- Practical background in basic education regarding draft angle mathematics, structural load diagnostics, and component lifecycle workflow management methodologies.
Preferred Technical Skillsets:
- Deep analytical understanding of engineering thermoplastic performance, photopolymer resins, and metal powder sintering characteristics.
- Experience managing high-density structural lattice generation or generative design software modules.
- Hands-on familiarity with industrial-grade 3D scanners, photogrammetry data compilation, and coordinate measurement tools.
- Prior background collaborating with structural real estate model makers or large-scale component manufacturers via targeted Real Estate Jobs adjacent pipelines.
What the Organization Offers:
- Competitive monthly base salary package ranging from AED 5,000 to 6,000 (dependent upon verified technical portfolio modeling evaluation and CAD audition).
- Comprehensive organization-backed residency visa protection, complete medical health insurance plans, and standard annual travel provisions per UAE Labour Law regulations.
- Direct technical exposure within a flagship additive factory managing state-of-the-art multi-laser systems and complex engineering projects.
- Structured ongoing product design leadership masterclasses to advance your practical education in generative asset physics, advanced material diagnostics, and digital pipeline ledger tracking architectures.
- Clear potential tracks for vertical career advancement into Additive Engineering Lead seats, Creative Design Director roles, or corporate enterprise regional management divisions.
