Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Planning & Forecasting: Support senior leadership in budgeting activities, financial forecasting, and complex cash flow planning tailored to tourism cycles.
- Operational Oversight: Monitor and manage the full accounts payable and accounts receivable cycle, optimizing working capital.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities adhere to company internal policies and current UAE financial regulations.
- Audit & Reconciliation: Lead the coordination of internal and external audits, performing detailed reconciliations and analytical reviews.
- Decision Support: Provide meaningful financial insights and ad-hoc reports to senior management to facilitate data-driven business decisions.
🔹 Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience: 3–5 years of relevant finance experience; prior experience in the Tourism or Hospitality sector is a significant advantage.
- Software Skills: Mandatory proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced working knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, Vlookups, financial modeling).
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of core accounting principles and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
- Analytical Ability: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex financial data sets.
- Communication: Professional verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
