Assistant Finance Manager – Dubai, UAE | Tourism Sector

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Planning & Forecasting: Support senior leadership in budgeting activities, financial forecasting, and complex cash flow planning tailored to tourism cycles.
• Operational Oversight: Monitor and manage the full accounts payable and accounts receivable cycle, optimizing working capital.
• Compliance: Ensure all financial activities adhere to company internal policies and current UAE financial regulations.
• Audit & Reconciliation: Lead the coordination of internal and external audits, performing detailed reconciliations and analytical reviews.
• Decision Support: Provide meaningful financial insights and ad-hoc reports to senior management to facilitate data-driven business decisions.

🔹 Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience: 3–5 years of relevant finance experience; prior experience in the Tourism or Hospitality sector is a significant advantage.
• Software Skills: Mandatory proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced working knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, Vlookups, financial modeling).
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of core accounting principles and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
• Analytical Ability: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex financial data sets.
• Communication: Professional verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
