Senior Accounting Clerk / Accounting Assistant – Dubai, UAE

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Ledger Management: Maintain and update primary books of accounts with extreme precision, ensuring all entries are properly categorized.
• Complex Reconciliations: Perform detailed bank, vendor, and inter-company reconciliations to resolve discrepancies and maintain financial integrity.
• Documentation Oversight: Manage the full cycle of financial documentation, including invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
• Audit Support: Provide organized data and historical records to support internal reviews and statutory audit requirements.
• Reporting Assistance: Support the finance manager in preparing monthly schedules, accruals, and preliminary financial summaries.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all daily accounting activities remain in strict compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.

🔹 Requirements:

• Senior Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or Assistant is mandatory.
• UAE Knowledge: Strong preference for candidates with significant prior accounting experience within the UAE market.
• Technical Proficiency: Mastery of standard accounting procedures, financial documentation, and modern ERP/accounting software.
• Expert Accuracy: Exceptional attention to detail and a track record of high-level accuracy in high-volume environments.
