Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Support: Support the daily functions of the HR department, ensuring smooth administrative workflows for both academic and non-academic staff.
- Employee Relations: Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, maintaining positive relations and resolving internal grievances.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure all HR activities and contracts are strictly aligned with current UAE Labour Law and university policies.
- Records Management: Maintain accurate and confidential employee files, managing data with high levels of professional discretion.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist in the coordination of hiring processes and deliver structured orientation programs for new faculty and staff.
- Workflow Coordination: Collaborate with various departments to streamline performance management cycles and leave administration.
🔹 Requirements:
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Arabic (spoken and written) is mandatory for this role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Proven hands-on experience in an HR role; specific experience within the Education sector is a strong advantage.
- Core Knowledge: Solid understanding of HR operations, organizational behavior, and UAE Labour Law.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, coordination, and organizational abilities with a focus on confidentiality.
- Competency: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment with a diverse workforce.
