Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Operations: Manage core accounting functions including general ledger maintenance and monthly reconciliations.
- Compliance Management: Ensure all financial activities adhere to UAE accounting standards and JAFZA-specific regulatory requirements.
- Accuracy & Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure data integrity and transparency.
- Internal Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline financial data flow and support departmental goals.
- Audit Readiness: Support internal and external audit activities by maintaining organized and accurate financial documentation.
- Efficiency: Execute accounting tasks independently while meeting strict deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
🔹 Requirements:
- Education: Post-graduate qualification or an equivalent degree in Commerce (M.Com/MBA Finance).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven accounting experience specifically within the UAE market.
- Location: Candidate must be currently residing in the UAE to be considered.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written English communication skills for professional reporting and liaison.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both as an independent contributor and as part of a collaborative finance team.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in financial software/ERP systems.
