Accountant – UAE | MZ Architects

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Operations: Manage end-to-end accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and receivable.
• VAT & Compliance: Ensure full adherence to UAE VAT regulations, managing registration, filing, and periodic reconciliations.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, and detailed variance analysis to track project profitability.
• Payroll & Reconciliations: Process monthly payroll and perform rigorous bank and account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
• Budgeting: Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cost analysis specific to architectural consultancy projects.
• Audit Coordination: Maintain organized records for internal and external audits, coordinating directly with auditors to ensure compliance.

🔹 Requirements:

• Experience: 3–5 years of proven hands-on accounting experience within the UAE (consultancy background preferred).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Dolphin, or similar systems.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Expertise: Strong understanding of UAE accounting standards, statutory compliance, and internal controls.
• Attributes: High level of accuracy, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborative work within a multi-disciplinary consultancy environment.
