Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Oversight: Lead and manage the entire accounting function, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and institutional reporting.
- P&L Analysis: Conduct rigorous Profit & Loss analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize restaurant/outlet margins.
- Cash Flow Planning: Manage and monitor company cash flow, ensuring liquidity for operations, inventory procurement, and expansion.
- Budgetary Control: Develop, implement, and monitor departmental budgets, flagging variances and providing strategic financial advice to management.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the accounting team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Closing Processes: Take hands-on responsibility for timely and accurate month-end and year-end financial closings and audits.
- Compliance: Ensure all accounting practices strictly adhere to UAE regulations, IFRS standards, and internal company policies.
🔹 Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory capacity within the F&B or Hospitality industry.
- Language Skills: Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory for professional reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CMA/ACCA qualification is a significant advantage).
- Technical Mastery: Advanced expertise in preparing complex financial statements, P&L reporting, and utilizing high-end ERP systems.
- Skills: Strong analytical abilities, strategic mindset, and the capability to lead a multidisciplinary finance team.
- Residency: Currently based in the UAE with a deep understanding of local accounting regulations and tax (VAT) compliance.
