Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Procurement: Coordinate the sourcing and acquisition of goods and services across multiple departments, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
- ERP Administration: Execute and record supplier purchase requisitions (PR) and purchase orders (PO) within the ERP system, maintaining 100% data accuracy.
- Supplier Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor queries, delivery follow-ups, and the resolution of supply-related issues.
- Strategic Sourcing: Obtain and analyze competitive supplier quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to internal procurement policies.
- Order Expediting: Proactively follow up on existing orders to ensure complete and on-time deliveries to various business sites.
- Records Management: Maintain a rigorous administrative system including scanning, filing, and documenting all purchasing transactions for audit readiness.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to company safety guidelines, including the immediate reporting of workplace accidents and the correct use of PPE.
🔹 Requirements:
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven experience in a purchasing or procurement administration role within the UAE.
- Technical Skills: Mandatory proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Navision, or similar) for purchasing modules.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to compare complex quotations and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Communication: Professional verbal and written English skills for effective coordination with department managers and international suppliers.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong multitasking abilities, and a results-driven approach to expediting.
