Job Description:
China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) is urgently expanding its project workforce and is currently hiring 16 experienced QA/QC Inspectors for major ongoing construction and infrastructure projects in Dubai. This is an immediate requirement for detail-oriented professionals who are currently based in Dubai and ready to join our operations without delay. You will be responsible for ensuring that all site activities comply with approved quality standards, project specifications, and safety requirements. We are looking for candidates who can effectively navigate the complexities of large-scale infrastructure sites while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory guidelines and CHEC’s international quality protocols.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site inspections to ensure all construction activities align with the approved engineering drawings and specifications.
- Monitor and verify that materials and workmanship meet the required quality and compliance standards.
- Develop and manage Quality Control reports, Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate effectively with site engineers, contractors, and project management to maintain project timelines.
- Ensure all site operations adhere to environmental and safety requirements as mandated by Dubai regulatory authorities.
- Coordinate with Human Resources regarding site safety inductions and quality training for work crews.
- Utilize Information Technology tools for digital inspection logging and real-time data reporting.
- Actively participate in internal and external quality audits to ensure continuous improvement in site operations.
🔹 Requirements:
- Relevant Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven hands-on experience in large-scale infrastructure or maritime construction projects.
- Prior UAE experience is essential, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked on major Dubai-based projects.
- Immediate availability to join is mandatory (candidates must currently be in Dubai).
- Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, inspection protocols, and international compliance standards.
- Proficiency in IT tools for technical reporting and documentation.
- Professional communication skills in English; familiarity with technical Arabic or Mandarin is an advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines within a fast-paced site environment.
