Job Description:
Solin Café is seeking talented and passionate coffee professionals to fill multiple roles within our Dubai location. These positions are fundamental to our brand promise, requiring individuals who are motivated to maintain the highest standards of coffee consistency and guest satisfaction. From the strategic management of daily workflows in the Head Barista role to the skillful preparation of beverages as a Junior or Senior Barista, every team member plays a critical part in our success. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Head Barista / Shop-In-Charge: Lead comprehensive café operations and manage daily team workflows to ensure service excellence.
- Supervise and mentor the barista team, providing ongoing education on brewing techniques and sensory profiles.
- Senior Barista: Prepare specialty coffee beverages with artisanal precision and support the training of junior staff.
- Junior Barista: Assist in daily café operations and develop professional coffee-making skills under senior guidance.
- Liaise with the Human Resources team regarding staff scheduling and performance evaluations.
- Maintain high cleanliness standards and manage equipment maintenance protocols using established management checklists.
- Utilize Information Technology and POS systems to manage orders and track sales performance.
- Handle guest interactions and feedback with professionalism to ensure high levels of client retention.
🔹 Requirements:
- Diploma or professional certification in Hospitality or Specialty Barista Training is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in specialty coffee environments (Mandatory for Head and Senior levels).
- Strong knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, and advanced manual brewing methods.
- Excellent communication skills to support a high-energy sales and hospitality environment.
- Ability to multitask and maintain composure within a high-volume management framework.
- High level of IT literacy for managing digital inventory and payment platforms.
- A proactive approach to workplace safety and adherence to UAE health and hygiene regulations.
- Passion for continuous education and keeping up with global specialty coffee trends.
