Job Description:
Gulf Contractors Company is currently looking to hire an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead significant bridge and road infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our civil works operations, requiring a professional with a strong technical background who has successfully delivered complex developments from initial planning to final completion. You will be responsible for full project ownership, ensuring activities are completed on time, within budget, and according to the highest safety standards. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans for roads, bridges, and related utilities, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines and cost targets.
- Monitor budgets, schedules, and resource allocation for management review, implementing corrective measures as required.
- Lead and supervise multidisciplinary engineering teams, consultants, and subcontractors for seamless coordination.
- Ensure strict compliance with Abu Dhabi safety regulations and local authority requirements for all infrastructure works.
- Identify potential project risks, resolve technical challenges, and implement mitigation strategies promptly.
- Liaise with the Human Resources team regarding manpower planning and technical staff training.
- Utilize Information Technology and project software to prepare detailed progress reports for senior leadership.
- Coordinate with sales and procurement departments for material sourcing and vendor management.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering, or a related academic discipline.
- Extensive experience managing bridge and road infrastructure projects within the UAE.
- Strong leadership abilities and technical expertise in complex civil works and utility management.
- High level of IT literacy for managing project schedules (Primavera/MS Project) and technical reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi’s local authority standards and safety legislation.
- Professional background in education or advanced training related to infrastructure project delivery is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset capable of handling complex budget monitoring and resource optimization.
