Job Description:

Basmat Ghayathi Medical Center is seeking a professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our administrative operations, requiring an individual who can ensure a smooth, professional, and efficient workflow. You will be responsible for patient registration, appointment scheduling, and coordinating communication between clinical staff and management. We are looking for an organized professional with a patient-first service attitude who is comfortable using digital health records. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage high-volume patient registration, appointment scheduling, and front-desk workflows.
  • Operate the Shaade EMR system for meticulous patient records and administrative management.
  • Handle patient inquiries, insurance verification, and billing coordination with precision.
  • Coordinate communication between patients and clinical teams to support service sales and delivery excellence.
  • Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional environment at the medical center’s front desk.
  • Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding patient feedback and administrative protocol training.
  • Utilize Information Technology tools to manage digital documentation and patient flow reporting.
  • Coordinate with engineering or maintenance teams for the upkeep of front-office equipment and patient facilities.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Administration or Healthcare Management.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in healthcare reception or a medical administration role.
  • High level of IT literacy; prior experience with Shaade EMR is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a significant advantage.
  • Professional background in education or training related to customer service or medical ethics.
  • Professional presentation with a strong commitment to a patient-first service attitude.
  • Ability to handle management of sensitive patient information with absolute confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to support sales and service alignment at the point of entry.
