Job Description:
A specialty coffee shop in Jumeirah is seeking a professional and service-oriented Waiter/Waitress to join its high-performing team. This role is fundamental to our guest experience, requiring an individual who has thrived in upscale or fine-dining environments. You will be responsible for welcoming guests, taking precise orders, and ensuring that our specialty coffee and food menu is presented with technical perfection. We are looking for a service-minded professional who can maintain high standards in a fast-paced setting while facilitating sales through expert menu recommendations. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, high-quality table service that aligns with management standards.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders while offering expert menu recommendations to drive sales.
- Serve specialty coffee, beverages, and meals professionally according to established fine-dining protocols.
- Ensure total guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests and resolving concerns with a patient-first attitude.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of dining areas in compliance with UAE hygiene and safety standards.
- Coordinate effectively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure a smooth service flow and operational efficiency.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding service training and internal shift management.
- Utilize Information Technology and POS systems to accurately process orders and sales transactions.
🔹 Requirements:
- High School Diploma or a professional certificate in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Proven experience in upscale or fine-dining restaurants or specialty cafés within the UAE.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a professional appearance and positive attitude.
- High level of IT literacy for managing digital POS and inventory systems.
- Professional background in education or training related to specialty coffee or fine-dining service standards.
- Ability to coordinate with engineering or maintenance teams for café facility and brewing equipment upkeep.
- Immediate availability for joining is strongly preferred.
- Capability to work efficiently in a busy, high-pressure hospitality management environment.
