Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to join our growing construction team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our operational framework, requiring a professional who can oversee the complete procurement cycle from planning to delivery for management review. You will be responsible for evaluating suppliers, conducting technical and commercial comparisons of BOQs/RFQs, and ensuring material sourcing aligns with strict project timelines. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Construction Procurement and cost control. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete procurement lifecycle for major construction projects across Dubai.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with subcontractors and vendors to meet management value-engineering standards.
- Liaise with the Human Resources and project management departments regarding supplier performance, contractual adherence, and resource allocation.
- Prepare and review technical and commercial comparisons of RFQs and BOQs to ensure accuracy and cost-efficiency.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and ERP systems for tracking procurement documentation and supply chain logistics.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of professional procurement experience specifically within the UAE construction industry.
- Strong background in management of main contractor operations, local supplier networks, and market condition analysis.
- Professional background in education or training regarding UAE construction standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record in negotiation and cost control within a high-pressure construction environment.
- Excellent analytical thinking with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced Dubai business setting.
