Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Medical Coder to join a client medical center in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our clinical framework, requiring a professional who can accurately assign codes for management and billing review. You will be responsible for reviewing patient records, ensuring clinical documentation is complete, and collaborating with administrative staff to resolve discrepancies. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in ICD-10, CPT, and USCLS coding systems. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately assign ICD-10, CPT, and USCLS codes to medical procedures across our Abu Dhabi client facilities.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE coding guidelines to meet management and regulatory standards.
- Liaise with the Human Resources and medical staff regarding documentation accuracy and discrepancy resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of coded data for reporting, billing, and clinical audit purposes.
- Utilize digital Information Technology and electronic medical record (EMR) systems for efficient data entry and tracking.
🔹 Requirements:
- Professional CPC Certification is strictly mandatory for this role.
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in medical coding within the UAE or a similar regulatory environment.
- Strong background in management of ICD-10, CPT, and USCLS coding systems.
- Professional background in education or training regarding UAE medical coding guidelines and billing compliance.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
