Job Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Food Safety Supervisor and EFST Trainer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our operational framework, requiring a professional who can oversee food safety practices and deliver certified training programs for management and regulatory review. You will be responsible for ensuring implementation of food safety standards, conducting EFST sessions in compliance with ADAFSA guidelines, and monitoring HACCP protocols. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Food Microbiology and extensive experience in high-volume catering or hotel environments. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the implementation of global food safety standards across all Abu Dhabi catering operations.
- Conduct EFST training sessions in strict compliance with ADAFSA guidelines to meet management and legal requirements.
- Liaise with the Human Resources and operational teams regarding hygiene practices, staff guidance, and safety procedures.
- Perform detailed audits and site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to HACCP Level 3 protocols.
- Utilize digital Information Technology for accurate documentation of food safety reports and training compliance tracking.
🔹 Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or Microbiology from a recognized academic institution.
- ADAFSA-approved EFST Trainer certification is strictly mandatory for this professional role.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in food safety, with at least 2 years of relevant UAE experience (preferably in Abu Dhabi).
- Mandatory Level 4 Food Safety and HACCP Level 3 certifications; NEBOSH IGC is a significant advantage.
- Strong background in management of food safety documentation, regulatory compliance, and staff training.
- Professional background in education or training regarding microbiology and industry-standard hygiene practices.
