Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and passionate BTEC Business Teacher to join our academic team in Khalifa City A. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can deliver the Pearson BTEC International Level 3 curriculum for management and academic review. You will be responsible for planning lessons, managing internal verification processes, and supporting students with diverse learning needs. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in BTEC Assessment Criteria and a proactive approach to classroom management and curriculum enhancement. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Business curriculum to meet management and Pearson academic quality targets.
- Plan lessons and assessments in Abu Dhabi, ensuring 100% data integrity in internal verification processes, student records, and grading schedules.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and academic staff to support students with varying needs, including EAL and SEN learners.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management while ensuring adherence to UAE education regulations and safeguarding policies.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and learning platforms to optimize curriculum delivery and professional academic reporting.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Education plus a mandatory Recognized Teaching Qualification (PGCE/Diploma).
- 3 to 5 years of professional teaching experience specifically with Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Business (Essential).
- Strong background in management of BTEC verification standards, assessment criteria, and vocational pedagogy.
- Professional background in education or training regarding IELTS (Min 7.5 for non-natives) and diverse learner support.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, strong organizational skills, and experience with IB CP or American frameworks (Preferred).
- Excellent communication skills with the capability to support a multicultural student body in Abu Dhabi.
