Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled, proactive, and organized Logistics Officer to drive daily cargo operations, technical customs clearances, and shipment tracking tracks in Dubai. This active operational role demands complete import/export documentation control, precise container logistics mapping, and immediate port issue resolution to guarantee shipment velocity for corporate management evaluation. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily freight logistics operations and direct international shipment activities efficiently.
  • Execute complex customs clearance procedures, compiling all required regulatory filing files accurately.
  • Process food, trade, or consumer approvals through Dubai Municipality portals and related government networks.
  • Manage active port operations, container positioning tracking, and terminal flows via DP World and Jebel Ali Port.
  • Maintain highly structured digital shipment registries, bill of lading archives, and delivery tracking sheets.
  • Communicate updates with clients, international suppliers, land transporters, and maritime shipping lines.
  • Coordinate directly with border customs officials, freight agents, and clearing brokerage partners.
  • Resolve supply chain bottlenecks, transport delays, and port documentation queries with high composure.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven professional experience inside UAE logistics and freight operations is required.
  • Deep functional knowledge of Dubai Customs systems, tariff classifications, and clearance codes is mandatory.
  • Direct, practical experience securing compliance approvals from the Dubai Municipality is required.
  • Hands-on operational familiarity with DP World online systems and Jebel Ali Port terminal protocols.
  • Advanced understanding of international import/export documentation, including LC terms, Certificates of Origin, and packing lists.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; possession of a valid UAE Driving License is an advantage.
  • Practical background in education regarding freight cost metrics, maritime transit laws, container safety standards, and cargo management rules.
