Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated, leadership-driven Endoscopy Head Nurse to oversee clinical operations and manage our specialized gastroenterology nursing unit in Dubai. Operating as the primary clinical manager within our surgical services division, this full-time role focuses on supervising complex diagnostic workflows, guiding clinical protocols, and ensuring strict healthcare compliance parameters under our integrated clinical management framework.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the endoscopy nursing team on a daily basis, optimizing shift assignments and clinical resource allocations.
  • Ensure exceptional patient care standards and rigorous adherence to sterile field operations and safety procedures before, during, and post-procedure.
  • Coordinate and manage endoscopic procedural schedules efficiently to ensure smooth operational flow within the gastroenterology department.
  • Monitor complete compliance with hospital policies, evidence-based clinical protocols, and Dubai Health Authority (DHA) healthcare regulations.
  • Support and mentor junior nursing staff, technicians, and trainees through structured on-the-job clinical training and operational guidance.
  • Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists, surgical specialists, anesthesiologists, and healthcare professionals to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Maintain highly accurate medical documentation, case reports, and patient logs while assisting with department-level operational planning.
  • Promote a highly professional, compassionate, and patient-focused treatment environment within the endoscopy unit.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing) from an accredited university or recognized medical institution is mandatory.
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of successful, hands-on clinical nursing experience strictly operating within specialized endoscopy or gastroenterology units.
  • Proven leadership, supervisory, or charge nurse experience inside an active endoscopy department is required.
  • A valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Professional License or an official DHA Eligibility Letter is mandatory for prompt clinical placement.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of endoscopic tools, disinfection parameters, and advanced diagnostics; excellent organizational capabilities are essential.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills to coordinate fluidly across complex medical units.
  • Proven capacity to perform accurately under pressure and make sound, rapid decisions within a fast-paced healthcare setting.
