Assistant Facilities Manager – UAE | Facilities Management

Job Description:

The Assistant Facilities Manager will supervise daily facility operations, manage hard and soft service maintenance contracts, oversee engineering teams, direct client relations, resolve service requests, and partner with executive management to maintain high service quality standards.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily facilities management operations, ensuring uninterrupted utility systems and building functionality.
• Coordinate scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance across MEP, HVAC, and fire life safety installations.
• Serve as the primary operational liaison for clients, maintaining strong relations and addressing feedback promptly.
• Liaise effectively with internal maintenance staff, sub-contractors, and external service vendors.
• Implement operational enhancements, service quality monitoring, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, environment (HSE) standards, local municipality codes, and corporate policies.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on operational experience within the facilities management sector in the UAE.
• Strong background in MEP systems, HVAC plant management, and building maintenance workflows.
• Exceptional communication, team leadership, client relationship, and organizational capabilities.
• Immediate joiners currently residing in the UAE are strongly preferred.
