Job Description:

The Cashier will execute retail cash transactions, handle foreign currency exchanges, process money transfers, reconcile daily tills, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and partner with branch management to deliver exemplary customer service.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Execute customer currency exchange and remittance cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Deliver friendly, prompt, and professional customer service to all exchange branch visitors.
• Count, verify, and balance cash drawers, receipts, and daily transaction logs with total numerical accuracy.
• Verify client identification documents in compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and company operational policies.
• Reconcile end-of-day balances and prepare daily branch cash reporting statements.
• Address customer questions regarding currency exchange rates, remittance fees, and transaction processing times.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and security protocols during financial service transactions.

🔹 Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of cash handling or cashiering experience (Freshers with strong numerical aptitude are welcome).
• Strong customer service orientation, communication skills, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, POS software, and financial record-keeping tools.
• Preferred nationalities: Nepal, India, and Bangladesh as per operational preferences.
• Ability to perform efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced retail exchange environment.
