Job Description:
A specialized clinical medical opening is available for a compassionate and highly skilled Occupational Therapist to govern pediatric care and early intervention programming. Based out of Dubai, UAE, this multidisciplinary professional takes full responsibility for designing sensory treatment structures, running individualized cognitive developmental drills, and providing clinical guidance to caregivers within a patient-centered framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral and motor assessments for pediatric clients to determine developmental baselines.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to the specific functional requirements of each child.
- Provide occupational therapy sessions focused on sensory processing, fine motor control, and daily living skills.
- Prepare detailed clinical progress reports and maintain highly accurate, confidential documentation files.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary medical teams, speech pathologists, psychologists, and family caregivers.
- Apply evidence-based Sensory Integration and SCERTS® methodologies expertly inside all active therapy sessions.
- Support long-term therapeutic progress monitoring and execute proactive modifications to pediatric treatment paths.
🔹 Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of direct professional experience specializing within pediatric occupational therapy or early childhood intervention.
- An active, legally valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) License or verified DHA Eligibility letter is strictly required.
- Proven hands-on experience utilizing Sensory Integration protocols and structural SCERTS® behavioral frameworks.
- Strong clinical evaluation, diagnostic data tracking, and professional medical report-writing skills.
- Complete, high-level professional fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory.
- A valid UAE driving license along with ownership of a personal vehicle is highly preferred for community coordination.
- Familiarity with processing electronic healthcare records (EHR) driven by modern clinical Information Technology systems.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an approved clinical education university.
