Company Overview:
A well-established chemical manufacturing company located in Hamriyah Freezone, Sharjah is looking for a dedicated professional to support its procurement and sales operations.
Job Description:
The Purchase Coordinator will manage procurement activities, coordinate with internal departments, and ensure timely material delivery and accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the sales team to process customer inquiries, quotations, and sales orders.
- Prepare sales documentation, maintain customer records, and ensure timely execution of orders.
- Manage procurement activities, including preparing purchase orders and following up with suppliers.
- Source vendors, obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and coordinate timely delivery of materials.
- Work closely with production, stores, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate sales and purchase records using MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Prepare periodic reports related to sales, purchasing, and inventory activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in local and international purchase or procurement coordination.
- Good knowledge of sales order processing, procurement procedures, vendor coordination, quotations, and RFQs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP software.
- Excellent English communication skills are mandatory.
- Strong negotiation and multitasking abilities.
- Willingness to work in Hamriyah Freezone, Sharjah.
- UAE-based candidates are preferred.
