Job Description:
We are executing a strategic professional appointment within our procurement and materials division and are seeking an experienced, highly proactive Purchase Officer to govern commercial vendor pipelines and direct supply chain tracking pathways in Dubai. Operating as an essential cost-control anchor and inventory specialist within our central management team, this full-time role focuses on accelerating lead-time efficiencies, auditing commercial quote logs, and maximizing procurement material flows under our comprehensive project management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) materials, engineered equipment, and site services.
- Source, map, and systematically evaluate global and localized manufacturers based on structural quality benchmarks, commercial pricing, and delivery milestones.
- Negotiate legally binding vendor contracts, commercial pricing structures, bulk discounts, and credit payment terms with suppliers.
- Prepare structured purchase orders, manage transactional compliance, and maintain meticulous, audited procurement records.
- Monitor field inventory logs across multiple job sites to coordinate timely, efficient replenishment cycles of bulk engineering materials.
- Ensure uncompromised on-time delivery of technical components to systematically support fast-paced critical path project schedules.
- Build, scale, and preserve strong commercial partnerships with regional suppliers and key internal project engineers.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Diploma, or equivalent accredited qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement Logistics, Business Administration, or a highly relevant engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 5 or more years of successful, verified professional experience operating in a purchasing or material control role strictly within the MEP or civil construction industry sectors.
- Advanced technical data literacy with practical proficiency deploying macro formulas, inventory tracking matrices, and supplier selection models inside Microsoft Excel and modern purchasing software systems.
- Deep, comprehensive knowledge of procurement planning, vendor evaluation techniques, cost control parameters, and inventory budgeting.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills paired with highly polished commercial negotiation and relationship-building capabilities.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple technical material requisitions simultaneously, navigate tight supplier delivery deadlines, and solve supply chain variations independently.
- Prior professional experience navigating the United Arab Emirates material market and supplier network is highly advantageous.
