Job Description:
We are seeking an alert, detail-oriented, and highly preventative Safety Officer to manage daily on-site safety operations, labor environmental monitoring, and hazardous remediation tracking tracks across our civil engineering projects in Dubai. This active site management role demands complete lifecycle control over project risk profiles, precise incident log documentation file retention, and immediate hazardous environment resolution to guarantee flawless statutory compliance alignment for executive management evaluation. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, monitor, and enforce structured site safety protocols and core HSE policies across active civil development sectors.
- Conduct regular physical site safety inspections, extensive structural compliance audits, and precise proactive risk assessments.
- Ensure total, absolute alignment with United Arab Emirates federal safety laws, local municipality mandates, and project-specific client frameworks.
- Isolate underlying structural site hazards, assess workspace physical anomalies, and deliver clear corrective and preventive tracking metrics.
- Formulate and deliver mandatory morning toolbox talks, urgent safety briefings, and critical protective awareness modules for field workers.
- Maintain highly structured digital audit records, legal accident history files, and detailed compliance documentation tracking.
- Supervise everyday engineering activities on the deck to guarantee complete, zero-exception usage of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Coordinate seamlessly with inter-departmental site engineers, project managers, and subcontractor supervisors to sustain an accident-free baseline.
- Report all close-call anomalies, environmental incidents, and immediate compliance bottlenecks directly to the operations management wing.
🔹 Requirements:
- Proven professional experience operating full-time as a designated Safety Officer within large-scale construction or civil engineering frameworks.
- Deep structural understanding of Middle East HSE standards, local civil construction laws, and municipal emergency response procedures.
- Demonstrated capability to run physical site inspections independently, challenge unsafe worker habits, and manage complex site layouts.
- Excellent verbal communication, clear report-writing skills, and high-level technical log file documentation traits.
- Familiarity with formal hazard identification risk analysis matrices, detailed incident analysis tracking, and structural safety audits.
- Candidates must hold a completely valid, unexpired own-sponsored residency visa to facilitate immediate short-term deployment.
