Job Description:

We are executing a strategic professional appointment within our core fiscal administration division and are seeking an experienced, operationally authoritative Senior Accountant – Accounts Payable to govern supply-chain financial pipelines and direct sub-contractor ledger pathways in Dubai. Reporting directly to the Accounts Manager and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this full-time track focuses on accelerating invoice validation cycles, auditing project-based expenditure records, and maximizing liquidity control metrics within our structured infrastructure development and specialized engineering jobs support networks.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end corporate Accounts Payable operations for various regional material suppliers and site subcontractors.
  • Ensure Goods Received Notes (GRNs), progress payment certificates, and related transactional supporting files are recorded accurately within the ERP system.
  • Perform regular, comprehensive reconciliations of supplier accounts and subcontractor ledgers, diagnosing and resolving data discrepancies promptly.
  • Manage project site petty cash reserves while ensuring rigorous document verification, management approvals, and internal audit controls.
  • Prepare and distribute detailed Accounts Payable aging and due reports to executive Management, Project Managers, and Directors.
  • Prepare and submit consolidated monthly supplier payment plans for executive management review and corporate approval.
  • Process structured supplier and subcontractor cash/cheque/transfer payments in strict accordance with approved monthly plans.
  • Prepare payment release transparency reports for internal distribution among Project Managers and structural site teams.
  • Build and maintain highly positive, professional commercial working relationships with external suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate efficiently with Project Coordinators, Quantity Surveyors, and Directors to resolve complex billing and project valuation queries.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Corporate Finance, or a directly matching commercial business discipline from an accredited institutional body.
  • A minimum of 5 to 6 years of verified, high-performance professional history running an Accounts Payable desk, supervising supply-chain ledgers, or auditing subcontractor invoices dentro of the GCC region, demonstrating mandatory execution experience inside the civil construction, heavy contracting, or real estate property management sectors.
  • Advanced technical workspace data literacy with sharp capabilities structuring multi-sheet tracking models, formatting payment aging schedules, and auditing transaction spreadsheets inside Microsoft Excel.
  • Deep, comprehensive operational knowledge across the following primary functional dimensions:
    • Accounts Payable processes and project-based cost accounting, invoice matching rules, variance tracking, and liability aging logic.
    • ERP/accounting systems utilization, ledger indexing, automated transaction workflows, and electronic payment file generation.
    • Goods Received Notes (GRNs), payment certificates, subcontractor retainage parameters, and complex vendor account reconciliations.
    • Petty cash governance frameworks, internal auditing procedures, voucher validations, and cost-center allocation standards.
    • Cross-departmental coordination models, quantity surveying documentation steps, and executive performance reporting lines.
  • Outstanding corporate communication and stakeholder bargaining talents, sharp problem-solving habits under strict monthly closing dates, absolute mathematical attention to detail, and a highly analytical professional attitude.
