Job Description:
LOTSCHBERG General Contracting LLC (LGCC) is urgently seeking an experienced Purchase Officer to join its procurement department in Abu Dhabi. Based in Abu Dhabi, this supply chain specialist will manage construction material sourcing, evaluate vendor quotations, negotiate commercial contracts and delivery terms, maintain purchasing documentation, and coordinate material logistics for active project sites.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement activities for construction and infrastructure projects.
- Source materials and obtain competitive quotations from suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms with vendors.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and evaluate vendor performance.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure compliance with company procedures.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Up to 5 years of hands-on procurement experience within the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction materials, market pricing, and vendor evaluation protocols.
- Proven negotiation skills, supplier management capabilities, and purchasing documentation experience.
- Candidates currently residing in Abu Dhabi with immediate availability to join will have a distinct advantage.
